The man was going to sell his car in order to save his beloved dog, but caring strangers helped him

When Randy Etter’s dog, Gemini, became lethargic and drowsy, the man did not yet know that he would soon have to fight for the life of a pet.

Soon vomiting joined the apathy, and the owner took the dog to the veterinarian, but he could not determine the cause of the puppy’s ailments.

The dog got worse. Randy went from one doctor to another in the hope that someone would be able to make the correct diagnosis, but no one knew what Gemini was sick with.

Dog care and regular trips to the hospital took a lot of time, and it all ended with Randy losing his job.

Finally, the reason was found: some foreign object was stuck in the dog’s intestines – apparently, it was a piece of a plastic bottle that Gemini sometimes played with.

It caused an intestinal blockage and the dog needed an emergency operation costing about $4,500.

Randy didn’t have that kind of money, but he couldn’t watch his beloved friend die.

The man posted on Facebook a post in which he spoke about the misfortune that happened to Gemini, and said that he was ready to sell the car to help the dog.

But he didn’t have to. Users moved by Randy’s story volunteered to help.

First, one of the man’s friends offered to lend him $2,000.

Then a non-profit organization that helps homeless and desperate people who have pets stepped in.

With their help, they managed to raise another $3,000 for Gemini.

The dog is fine now.

The operation was successful and without any consequences for his health.

He is back at home, next to his loving owner Randy, who does not tire of thanking the caring people, thanks to whom his best friend survived.
